If I could give more stars I would. We're doing a round the country trip in a 86' g20 van and it's a lot of maintenance, but we don't know much about carburetors and all. We had a high idle problem so we dropped by Tri State. Scott told us he was booked until the next week but took 15 minutes to look a the engine and fix the problem, he explained everything to us. Tristate does the repairs & maintenance on our small fleet of vehicles. Service, timing & professionalism can't be beat. Scott has done this for our company for years, and I only have great things to say. I had an employee who went to Scott's for a repair and Scott gave her an estimate for $525.00. When she went to pick her car up, the bill was only $375.00. Scott was able to fix the problem for much less than he had estimated. I own Tom Martin's Body Shop & use Scott & Tri State for all of my mechanical repairs. We are a high volume body shop & send work to Scott several times a week. Without a doubt Tri State delivers the best quality service in a timely professional manner and I never have to carry anything back. I've been in the automobile repair business for 40 years and have used many different mechanic shops. None have provided the level of satisfaction and professionalism as has Tri State. You also won't find a mechanic who is more honest. I've sent cars to Scott not having a clue as to what the problem is and Scott could charge me whatever he wants. Scott will call me up and tell me he found a loose wire or a disconnected vacuum line and to come pick it up. In today's world it's difficult to find a mechanic who you can explicitly trust.
